Responsibilities:
•Collaborated closely with the Art Director and Concept team to define the visual
direction of the project, from overarching vision to detailed designs.
•Created illustrations of scenes, environments, props, vehicles, and weapons,
with an emphasis on compelling composition, atmosphere, lighting, and
material definition.
•Assisted the Art Director in providing feedback to external outsourcing partners.
•Partnered with the 3D Environment and Level Design teams to ensure alignment
between concept and implementation.
•Produced keyframes and mood imagery to support narrative and gameplay
beats.
•Conducted visual research and gathered real-world reference materials to
support grounded and believable world-building in relation to the Black Panther
IP.
•Maintained a strong understanding of the IP's universe and the design
constraints of the game world.
•Created supporting style sheets, material callouts, and documentation to ensure
clarity and consistency.
•Collaborated with the Art and Creative Directors to ensure visual development
aligned with product goals and narrative themes.
•Developed Miro boards and visual style guides to support look development and
team alignment.
•Actively participated in cross-discipline brainstorming sessions to enhance
worldbuilding, story, and gameplay integration.
•Interviewed candidates for open roles within the art team.
•Supported onboarding efforts for new concept artists to the team, providing
mentorship and guidance during ramp-up.
